A morning of study in memory of Paola Vismara

Colleagues, students, and academics together in the Archives the 22nd of November

This coming Wednesday 22nd of November 2017 the Veneranda Fabbrica del Duomo di Milano will hold a morning of study in memory of the Professor Paola Vismara, a member of the institution's board of directors from 2006 until her passing in 2015 and a well-known academic in Italy and abroad. The initiative was inspired by a desire to publicly recognize the life's work of Professor Vismara which, beginning with her untiring and steadfast dedication to historical studies, provided a clear example of civic, ecclesiastical, and academic commitment. Colleagues and students have welcomed the invitation to revisit some of the most significant topics that she explored, inspired by the firm intention of transmitting this precious legacy and helping it to flourish.
The event will be held from 9am to 12pm in the Sala dei Milanesi of the Veneranda Fabbrica del Duomo Archives (Piazza del Duomo, 20), with free admission subject to availability.
